Will Schneider is a postdoctoral fellow working with IPR developmental psychologist Lindsay Chase-Lansdale on the Institute for Policy Research's Two-Generation Research Initiative at Northwestern University.

His research focuses broadly on child maltreatment, instability, fatherhood, parenting, and child development. His dissertation captured the ways in which parental relationships and father involvement in parenting influence the risk for child maltreatment.

Schneider received his MSW in 2013 and his PhD in social policy and policy analysis in 2016 from the Columbia University School of Social Work. He previously worked at Columbia University's National Center for Children in Poverty at the Mailman School of Public Health and at the Center for Research on Child Wellbeing at Princeton University.
