Application Process - Applications are no longer being accepted

The workshop will be offered from July 31–August 11, 2017. If you are interested in attending the workshop, there is an online application form and supplementary application materials (your CV and personal statement) to email. 

  1. Complete the online application form.
  2. Email a copy of your (a) current curriculum vitae and (b) your personal statement to Rebecca Morris

(a) Your curriculum vitae (CV) should include information on:

  • Your academic/professional degree(s)
  • Your current title/position at your institution or organization
  • Your citizenship status (citizen or permanent resident)
  • Your academic/professional degree(s)
  • A list of currently funded research grants and the funding sources

(b) Your one- to two-page personal statement should describe:

  • Your current and planned intervention research projects 
  • Your previous statistical training and familiarity with statistical packages such as Stata or R 
  • How this workshop is likely to influence your future research

Requirement: The personal statement is limited to two single-spaced pages in a typical 12-point font, such as Times, Helvetica, or Arial, and must be attached as a Microsoft Word document or a pdf file.

Applications are due by Wednesday, May 10, 2017. Applications will be reviewed and applicants will be notified via e-mail. Selected applicants will receive the course schedule and information about travel and lodging.
